What Christmas is Really About? ... Merry Christmas!!

What is Christmas is really about?

Jesus vs Santa Message:

Santa lives at the North Pole ... JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh ... JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year ... JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies ... JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited ... JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and enters your heart.

You have to wait in line to see Santa ... JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap ... JESUS lets you rest in His Arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or, what's your name?" ... JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our history and future, and He even knows our hearts & how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly ... JESUS has a heart full of love, grace, mercy & forgiveness.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO ... JESUS says "Cast your cares on me for I care for you."

Santa's little helpers make toys ... JESUS makes a new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but ... JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree ... JESUS became our gift and died on the cross, for you & for me.

It's obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about. We need to put CHRIST back in Christmas; Jesus is still the reason for the season.

BEFORE EXAMS…

** I am so worried about this subject!!!

Philippians 4:6-7

** my mind cant concentrate at all!!!

Planet Shakers Conference

Just to update you on the latest information about the Planet Shakers Malaysia Conference. News of our first conference in Malaysia has stirred great excitement among many churches, youth groups and Christian fellowships. Participants are coming from all the states in Malaysia and even Singapore and Thailand. This is going to be an awesome time to impact the youth of the nation. An event you must not miss.

Here are some updates………….

1. Henry Seeley is Coming....

Henry Seeley, Planet Shakers Creative Director and writer of many of Planet Shakers songs is definitely coming and will lead the worship session at PS04 Malaysia Conference this December. Together with Henry will be Sam Evans, Michael Gugliemucci, Mike Webber, Mike Nikkerud (Rudy) and others making this one of the most anointed and exciting Planet Shakers bands. Planet Shakers music has always been unique in creating an awesome atmosphere at the conference.

2. Have you registered?

To catch our extremely cheap early bird registration, only RM65.00, remember we must receive your registration forms and cheques by 20 November 2004. After this date it will cost you RM80.00. There is no other cost.

For those who are not available to attend the whole 3-day conference, you may register for a one day session for RM50.00. The night rallies are free and open to all, so invite all your friends.

3. Sessions…..

There will be two morning sessions on the 2^nd and 3^rd of December in which the key note speakers will be sharing and imparting vision and passion to empower a generation. In our afternoon workshop sessions, a number of different speakers and teachers from Australia and Malaysia will be conducting the workshops. The topics during the workshop will be relevant to youth and young adult ministries and they will speak out of their experience to help you increase in your ministry influence.
